Who we are

Markeo is made by Avenzis ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the Markeo apps for iOS and Android collect, and why. If you have a question, email support@blocmind.com.

Your links and content

The links, titles, notes, tags, folders and reminders you save are stored only on your device. We don't receive them. When you save a link, Markeo requests that web page directly from your device to read its title and preview image. That website may see your IP address, just as it would if you visited it.

Advertising (free version)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier, your approximate location (from your IP address), and ad interaction data, in order to serve and measure ads. On iOS, we only use your advertising identifier if you allow tracking when Markeo asks. On Android, you can reset or delete it in your device settings. To learn more, see how Google uses data in ads. Markeo Plus users never see ads, and no ad data is collected for them.

Crash reports and usage

We collect anonymous crash reports and basic, non-identifying usage events (for example, "a link was saved") to fix bugs and improve the app. These aren't linked to you. You can turn them off in Settings › Privacy.

Purchases

Markeo Plus is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. They handle your payment, and we never see your card details. We only receive confirmation that your subscription is active.

Notifications

Read-later reminders are scheduled on your device. They're never sent through our servers.

Keeping and deleting data

Your saved content stays on your device until you delete it. To erase everything, go to Settings › Delete all data in the app, or uninstall Markeo. Crash and usage data is kept for up to 90 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in the EU and UK, or CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. We don't sell personal information. To make a request, email support@blocmind.com.

Children

Markeo isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll also tell you in the app.
